It might be hard to believe, but we’re only a few short weeks away from the arrival of NYC holiday markets — days if you’re counting Winter Village at Bryant Park, which kicks off on October 24th.
The Urbanspace holiday markets lineup has officially arrived, and New Yorkers are getting into the Christmas spirit pretty early this season. But who are we kidding? We’re not one to resist viral sweets, giftable trinkets, and all of the merrymaking that they bring.
“We are proud to bring the holiday markets back to New York City, continuing a tradition that celebrates community, craftsmanship, and small businesses,” says Eldon Scott, President of Urbanspace. “Our markets have been ranked among the best in the world, and we’re excited to build the best experiences possible in the heart of New York City.”

This year, however, New Yorkers can expect some changes to their experiences. We’re making a list, so check it twice to see what’s happening at your go-to spot.
NYC holiday markets: Urbanspace reveals its 2025 lineup (and added features)
First things, first, as you begin to map out your winter plans in NYC, you’ll need to know the opening dates of each market:
- Bank of America Winter Village at Bryant Park: October 24th
- Macy’s Holiday Square: November 8th
- Union Square Holiday Market: November 13th
- Columbus Circle Holiday Market: December 2nd
As far as what to expect? This year, there will be new interactive maps that will allow visitors to have an in-depth look at the location they’re visiting — directories, deals, and beyond. Plus, there will be photo booths on hand to help you and your loved ones to capture the festivities.
Macy’s Holiday Square, which is returning for its second year, will up the ante with the brand-new Herald Haus & Bar, “a warm and inviting new lodge, and other surprises.”
Union Square Holiday Market is getting a major glow-up with new decor and murals to celebrate the season. Plus, there will be a new Christmas tree to greet those stopping by.
