Frontline hospital workers in NYC “flipped the script” last night.
They showed up at protests against police brutality and systemic racism against Black people during the 7pm time slot that has been used to cheer them on in thanks for their fight against COVID-19.
Tons of healthcare workers came out, especially in Times Square, to support the cause. According to those on the ground, some held signs that read “Racism is a Public Health Issue” and “White Coats for Black Lives.”
