This Thursday, June 18, Mayor Mamdani will host a Knicks Championship Ceremony at City Hall—and 600 lucky fans can attend for free.
The city has launched a public lottery that will award 600 free tickets to the ceremony, giving New Yorkers the chance to be part of what could become one of the biggest celebrations the city has seen in decades.
The sweepstakes closes Wednesday, June 17 at 11 am EST, so fans only have a limited time to enter. A statement reads:
For more than 50 years, New Yorkers have waited for this moment. Now it is time to celebrate together. Sports has always been for the people, and this ceremony is no different.
How to get free tickets to NYC’s Knicks Championship Ceremony
The lottery is now open and will award 600 lucky fans with free tickets to the City Hall celebration. To enter, you’ll need to provide the following:
- Name
- ZIP code
- Date of birth
- Email address
- Phone number
Fans selected through the lottery will receive two tickets to the ceremony.
New Yorkers will be notified on Wednesday, June 17, if they’ve been randomly selected. Tickets will automatically be transferred to the Ticketmaster account associated with the email address used to enter. The tickets are non-transferable.
