NYC has a store for pretty much everything, and now it has one exclusively dedicated to COVID-19 gear.
That’s right, at this new shop in Herald Square you can pick up the likes of: face masks, digital thermometers, air filters, portable UV lights, and much much more all in one place.
“CV19 Essential” just opened at 41 West 35th St., as reported by 6sqft. Its website describes it as “NYC’s first technology store offering products to combat the CoronaVirus & Other germs.”
The shop is owned by Tony Park, who also owns Korean BBQ restaurant Samwon Garden in Koreatown and and Angelina Bakery in Times Square. As he worked on getting his businesses back off the ground during COVID-19, he realized NYC needed one place to get all the elements necessary for the “new normal.”
“The goal of the store is to serve more communities and to serve people across industries, whether it’s a family wanting to make their apartment safer or a retail or restaurant business owner like me, a company wanting to make their office safe for employees, or a school; I want to lend my knowledge to help people,” he told 6sqft.
Business owners can pick up dividers with antibacterial film, temperature measuring face recognition, touchless infrared disinfection liquid, thermal screening walk-throughs, and hygienic toilet seats. Anyone can purchase all kinds of PPE, from wipes to masks to sanitizer, plus UV cases for disinfecting phones and even UV lightbulbs.
They also have an experience center where you can test any product you want!
It is open Monday-Saturday from 9am to 5pm.
