The curtain will soon rise on Broadway Week once again, as the beloved program is gearing up for its return to NYC Tuesday, September 8 through Sunday, September 20.
One of NYC’s most popular promotions, the biannual event offers theater lovers a deal that absolutely can’t be passed up: 2-for-1 tickets to some of Broadway’s hottest shows. Run by NYC Tourism and the Broadway League, it’s a New Yorker’s ticket to an unforgettable–and affordable–night at the theater.
🎭 NYC Broadway Week: the rundown
An NYC staple since 2011, Broadway Week is one of the city’s most popular promotions.
Created as a way to help support and boost the city’s theater scene, the event takes place twice a year–once in the winter as part of NYC’s larger Winter Outing program, and again in the fall–offering Broadway lovers an extraordinary discount: 2-for-1 theater tickets (with a two-ticket minimum) for some of Broadway’s biggest shows.
We’re talking hit musicals, crowd-pleasing comedies, and everything in between.

🎟️ When & how to get tickets
With the fall 2026 edition of Broadway Week not returning until Tuesday, September 8, there’s still a bit of time to wait before tickets go on sale.
If previous years are any indication, tickets will likely drop about two weeks before the promotion begins. Once they do, a promo code will also be unveiled to use when purchasing your tickets to ensure you get your hands on the 2-for-1 deal.
🚨 Pro-tip: Shows tend to sell out fast, so we suggest staying on top of ticket release dates and jumping on the deal as soon as you can. We’ll update you once we have the info!
