The Edge? Summit OV? The Empire State Building? Guess again!
If you’re looking to experience the best viewpoint in the world, you’ll have to head up to the Top of the Rock to find it!
Yes, the world has plenty of jaw-dropping views to offer but it seems that the people agree with us: nothing quite beats NYC. In a recent study done by Remitly comparing over one million TripAdvisor reviews for landmarks, tourist spots and viewing points in over 260 countries, New York City received the most positive mentions of the word “view.”
Specifically, the Top of the Rock garnered more than 42,000 ‘view’ mentions, putting it ahead of tough competitors like the London Eye (34,972 mentions) and the Eiffel Tower (32,875).
And though we can’t deny that NYC is home to some pretty incredible viewpoints, all the real ones know that the Top of the Rock is a fan-favorite thanks to its direct shot of the Empire State Building (ESB we love you but you’re prettier to look at than to look from!). Not to mention, the Top of the Rock offers a gorgeous vantage point to admire both Central Park and our beloved Lady Liberty.
Following behind London and Paris, ranks Dubai’s Burj Khalifa in fourth and Hong Kong’s Victoria Peak (The Peak) in fifth.
