NYC Beer Week is only a few weeks away. The city-wide event goes on until March 4… but, how come this year’s Beer “WEEK” last 9 days? …Because BEER, THAT’S WHY! Here’s everything you need to know.
NYC Beer Week is organized by the New York City Brewers Guild, an advocacy group that supports and promotes local brewers through marketing, events and consumer education. That, however, doesn’t mean Beer Week is solely about local breweries, this year’s festival will span a whole slew of events bringing together beer-makers from all over the country.
The “week” will kick off with the NYC Fermentation Festival, a market-style celebration of all things fermented, and the Opening Bash Invitational, a boozy celebration like no other, with unlimited sampling from 60 of the best breweries in the US with beer from up to 30 NYC Breweries and up to 30 invited guest breweries.
The week-long party will see the best in brewing, from home brewers to seasoned professionals, as well as delicious eats, markets, concerts and more. Check out a full list of what’s going down in the week HERE.
