A new experience on Edge — the highest outdoor sky deck in the Western Hemisphere, open in Hudson Yards — will mimic the coveted natural phenomenon with a new interactive light spectacle called “SKYLIGHT.”
Only available for a few days on the outdoor deck from March 3-7, New Yorkers can experience the dancing waves of green, blue and pink, lighting up the entire observation deck.
The light show will last for 20 minutes beginning at 7 p.m. each evening during the allotted days, and uses “revolutionary lighting technology to create dramatic illustrations over the NYC skyline,” a press release shares. There will be a 45 minute break between each show, when you can simply take in the stunning nighttime skyline views.
All you have to do to experience it for yourself is purchase general admission tickets to Edge one day March 3rd through 7th, any time between 7 and 10 p.m.
If you miss it outside, you can take in another “SKYLIGHT” show indoors throughout the rest of the month of March, when the show transforms into a cloud and illuminated sky display at the two indoor bars on Levels 100 and 101.
