For the second year in a row, the New York Public Library is hosting a Halloween extravaganza.
On October 26, the NYPL will host their second annual Halloween event. Join in on the fun at the Stephen A. Schwarzman Building from 7 – 10 pm for a night of mischief and culture. At the event, the first 125 contestants to sign up are eligible to take part in the literary costume parade and contest which will be judged by Project Runway mentor Tim Gunn among others. 10 finalists will be selected and three winners announced by the judges.
The library will also be displaying their most ghoulish photographs, scariest prints and truly terrifying texts of the past, as well as a curated screening of some of the spookiest 16mm films from their archives.
Tickets to the event are limited so if you’re interested, be sure to sign up in advance now.
