The New York Knicks are nearly back, and this could be their most exciting year in recent times.
Fresh off the heartbreak of last year’s postseason run that eventually ended in defeat to the NBA Finals runner-up, Indiana Pacers, the Knicks are set to kick off their brand new campaign at home this Wednesday, October 22nd against the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Their star-studded lineup is basically all returning from last year’s historic run— headlined by starters Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, and Mitchell Robinson.
Many fans are even getting excited about the additions also made this off-season, which includes bringing in the NBA veteran Jordan Clarkson and also hiring a brand new coach in Mike Brown after the departure of long-tenured skipper Tom Thibodeau in June.
With all of that fresh and new magic feeling in the air, the team will take on Cleveland on Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden, where familiar competition in Donovan Mitchell, Darius Garland, Evan Mobley, and crew awaits.
