We seriously don’t know how this one happened but according to a new study, New York -apparently-is one of the lesser stressed of the 50 states.
According to a study conducted by Wallethub, stress levels nationwide have been on the rise since 2016. This is due to a series of factors including; money, uncertainty about healthcare and the future of America. However, despite the overall rise in stress, there has been a decrease in stress for men in comparison to an increase for women.
In their study, WalletHub ranked all 50 states based on stress factors including hours worked per week, average hours of sleep and bankruptcy rates. New York scored (almost) smack dab in the middle at number 26 overall. However New York did rank in the top 5 of states with the least affordable housing- that one’s not too surprising.
