The Rose Garden in Prospect Park has been decorated with 7,000 pinwheels and Instagram is going nuts! …quite rightly so, they are absolutely beautiful.
Last month we let you know about the plan to decorate the Prospect Park Rose Garden with an ocean of pinwheels. Well, it happened, and the results are even more captivating than we imagined.
The Prospect Park Alliance moved forward in decorating their sadly-neglected Rose Garden with the pinwheels in an initiative is called the Connective Project. The weather resistant, compostable Pinwheels will be around until 17, and you, yes YOU, are encouraged to decorate and plant your own.
This exhibit is just one of many things planned by the Alliance to celebrate the parks 150th anniversary. …but you’re not here to read me waxing lyrical about the decorations, you want to see them. here are some of our favorite images and videos from the last 3 days.
