The new exhibit at the Museum of the City of New York is called “Collecting New York’s Stories: Stuyvesant to Sid Vicious,” and it’s a true inside glimpse into the unique history of our beloved city.
The exhibit is a curated collection of pieces of art and objects from the permanent collection of the Upper East Side museum, that “illuminate the compelling and layered identity of New York and its stories.” Some pieces date all the way back to the colonial era while others hail from the very recent past.
From precious candids of New Yorkers to views of NYC streets from another era, you need to take a peek at the treasures of this very special city!
