If getting paid to wait on TSA lines isn’t exactly your type of side hustle, maybe this one is.
A new casting call from Grant Wilfley Casting (GWCI) is searching for background actors for an upcoming Netflix feature film–and New Yorkers can earn up to $260 per day for the role.
Yes, really. Your side hustle could double as your IMDb debut.
🎬 What roles are available?
The production–currently titled AIG–is casting a range of background roles, including:
- DJs (with equipment like laptops/headphones)
- Secret Service agents
- FBI agents
- Chic party guests (think celebrities, musicians, politicians, and other well-dressed types)
Some roles require “special ability” experience, like DJing or a background in law enforcement or the military, but others are open to anyone who can convincingly look the part.
💰 How much does it pay?
Rates vary depending on the role, but here’s the breakdown:
- $260/day (8 hours): Special ability DJ (plus a $50 bump for equipment)
- $234/day (8 hours): Secret Service agents and FBI agents
- $224/day (8 hours): Chic party guests
Not bad for a day on set.

📍 Where and when is filming?
Filming is slated to run from early April through June 1, 2026, with tentative shoot dates including:
- Jersey City, NJ (multiple dates throughout April, May, and June)
- Red Bank, NJ (April 15)
Both interior and exterior shoots are expected, including some day and night scenes.
