Whether you’re craving a delicious smash burger or a regular ‘ol juicy hamburger, there’s plenty of places in NYC to do it.
And now, a new burger joint has entered the game — and they only serve wagyu cheeseburgers.
Austin-based mini-chain NADC Burger is now officially open in SoHo, and it’s making the viral rounds not only for its small menu, but also unique origin story.
Standing for Not a Damn Chance, the venture stems from a collaboration between Michelin-starred chef Phillip Frankland Lee and professional skateboarder Neen Williams.
The name stems from Williams’ spice rub company of the same name, and originated in Texas in 2022 before fronting a physical restaurant in 2023 and then expanding into Chicago, Denver, Fort Worth, and now New York.
“What started as two friends chasing the ideal burger has grown into something bigger, and bringing it to New York, a city with so much devotion to food, feels unreal,” Williams said in a press release.
“We can’t wait for New York to taste what we’ve built.”
What’s on the menu
One main menu item, as mentioned, steals the show, the wagyu burger consisting of two beef patties, American cheese, a house sauce, onions, pickles, and jalapeños.
Dripping in flavor you can also add fries (with an option to add diced jalapeños, pickles, and steak spices, aka Beast Mode-style) and New York City location exclusive brown butter cookies and milkshakes.
