Legendary rock emo band My Chemical Romance announced a brand new 2025 North American tour earlier this week, and they’re set to play a hometown show at MetLife Stadium!
The New Jersey band took to Instagram on Tuesday to announce a special run of stadium shows called the “Long Live”: The Black Parade North American Tour…in which they’ll play their 2006 hit album The Black Parade in full.
My Chemical Romance will welcome a range of artists as openers for their 10-city tour including the likes of Death Cab for Cutie, Alice Cooper, and more.
Band members Mikey Way and Frank Iero took to their Instagram Stories on Tuesday to celebrate the news.
“To say this has been a dream of mine is quite the understatement,” Way said in his post. “I can’t believe we get to do this! Here’s to summer 2025, with my brothers, with my friends and with all of you. Long live The Black Parade!”
“8 years ago I had a dream mychem played Metlife Stadium. Today we announce the show I dreamt of … New Jersey Forever,” Iero wrote on his Story.
