If you still have some free space on your summer calendar, you may want to keep it that way. MoMA PS1’s signature outdoor music series, Warm Up, is returning for the 2026 season, bringing 26 globally acclaimed artists and collectives to NYC’s largest free museum.
Spanning six Fridays across July and August, the beloved summer staple kicks off this Friday, July 24, bringing underground icons, high-energy DJ sets, and groundbreaking live acts straight to Queens.
Here is everything you need to know before you go.
Iconic returns to Warm Up’s historic stage
While Warm Up is celebrating its 28th season, MoMA PS1 is ringing in an even bigger milestone: its 50th anniversary.
Celebrations kicked off back in April, when an all-day block party transformed the museum’s famous courtyard, public plaza, and indoor galleries into a high-energy festival. Now, that same energy is being carried through the summer.
This year’s 26-act lineup highlights four notable alumni returning to the historic Warm Up stage:
- Lary 7: The legendary sound artist who performed at the very first Warm Up in 1998
- Marcellus Pittman: Detroit Sound trailblazer and 3Chairs alumnus, returning for the first time since 2013
- BAE BAE b2b Crystallmess: LA’s Hood Rave founder BAE BAE joins Parisian producer Crystallmess for an unmissable headlining b2b set
