Using citibike data collected in June of last year, mathematics student and programmer, Aleksey Bilogur presents us with this geographic Sankey diagram showing the density of city bike usage in NYC.
The map is based on an older version created by Oliver O’Brien, a researcher at University College London from information gathered and released in March 2014.
As you can see bellow 8th Avenue (around the Garment District) and along the Hudson River Greenway sees the most citibike traffic.
