Magnolia Bakery’s banana pudding is just as iconic as its delicious baked goods, and now you can get it in ice cream form!
If you’ve already tried making it at home, this is definitely your next step to reach full-on banana pudding obsession.
Popular NYC ice cream shop Van Leeuwen has brought back their Magnolia Bakery-inspired banana pudding ice cream for the summer, and we’re pumped to have an icy version of one of our favorite desserts ever. The creamery unveiled the flavor last summer, and it quickly outsold their previous #1 flavor, Honeycomb.
Last year it was only available at their Rockefeller Center shop, but this year it’s available in all of their stores, plus for nationwide shipping!
They start with extra creamy banana ice cream, and then add delicious chunks of housemade vanilla wafer cookies.
It’s part of their “Endless Summer” line-up, which also includes the extremely crave-able flavors:
Campfire S’mores: Vanilla ice cream, housemade graham cracker crust, vegan marshmallows, dark chocolate chips and a fudge swirl.
Vegan Oat Milk German Chocolate Layer Cake: Chocolate oat milk ice cream, pieces of chocolate cake layered with pecan coconut frosting, and a swirl of kirsch cherry compote.
Vegan Passion Fruit Strawberry Pavlova: An homage to the Australian/New Zealand summertime dessert, with vegan vanilla meringue ice cream, passionfruit jam, roasted strawberry swirl, and pieces of honeycomb candy.
All of the flavors will be available through September 22 or while supplies last. You can find the closest Van Leeuwen location here.
