The most highly-talked about spring flower show near NYC is returning again this year on April 5th and 6th: The Lyndhurst Flower Show.
Each year, a Gilded Age mansion in Tarrytown, New York becomes a floral wonderland, thanks to local designers who transform the stunning historic interiors into a jaw-dropping botanical display.
Utilizing thousands of flowers throughout the residence, festival visitors will be able to stroll through three floors of the estate at their leisure…taking in a kaleidoscope of color and texture throughout. Last year’s rendition even included floral-laced bedrooms and tulips, daffodils, and calla lilies adorning the dining room.
This year’s show will, for the very first time, feature the mansion’s Bowling Alley adorned with stunning floral arrangements by Hops Petunia, while Bloomy Cheese & Provisions will offer small bites and wine for guests to enjoy.
Complementing the decorated mansion, the flower show will also host a Spring Market featuring over 30 vendors offering a variety of plants, flowers, garden items, and gift-related goods, available for visitors to shop throughout the weekend.
There will also be a pop-up cafe by Geordanes of Irvington in the welcome center, as well as vendors like Sweet Squeeze Lemonade and Penny Lick Ice Cream serving up delicious outside the mansion at Rose Cottage.
That area will also host face painting by Little Sparrow Face Painting and live performances by puppeteer Modern Marionette from 11 am – 1 pm and 2 – 4 pm on both days.
Tickets are on sale now and guests can choose between two different ticket options.
The All-Access Pass grants you entry into the majestic mansion and full access to all the exciting activities on the grounds like the market, welcome center, bowling alley and gardens.
Alternatively, the Grounds Pass allows you to enjoy the market and ONLY the outdoor festivities WITHOUT entering the mansion, so keep this in mind as you purchase tickets.
