Sip on fall and Halloween-inspired cocktails alongside ghosts, corpses, and even possessed babies at one of NYC’s favorite outdoor heated patios as it turns into a haunted beer garden for the spooky season!
Kicking off Wednesday, October 18th, the interior and both of Loreley’s outdoor spaces–the main garden out back and the street side dining area in the front–will be transformed into the ultimate horror destination. Filled with pumpkins, cobwebs, and other bone-chilling surprises, the space is the perfect spot for witches, zombies, ghouls, and werewolves to blend right in.
The stars of the show are their famous pumpkin kegs–which are actual pumpkins filled with 60 or 120 ounces of Southern Tier Brewing Company’s Imperial Pumpking Ale
Beyond the kegs they have a deliciously eerie selection of cocktails, such as the Magic Potion Margarita, which combines butterfly pea flower infused tequila, triple sec, lemon, and lime and will be served in two potion bottles that guests can mix together themselves to brew their own color-changing drink with a plume of smoke–the perfect potion for a fellow witch!
Bloody IV Bags, made with rum punch and cherry juice, will also be served…in actual IV bags! So vampires can rest assured they won’t get hungry.
Those looking for a little less gore can enjoy a selection of more toned-down drinks, such as Pumpkin Spice Cold Brew Martinis, Pumpkin Sangria, Hot Bourbon Cider, and German Glühwein (mulled wine).
Though the spookiness will be present through the rest of the month, the real fun begins with their Day of the Dead Party happening Friday, October 27th from 7p.m. – 9p.m. with their staff decked out in skull makeup.
Guests can show off their best Halloween looks on Saturday, October 28th and Tuesday, October 31st, in which the three top costume-adorned guests will receive gift cards (worth $50 – $250). And, ending on a high, happy hour will last until 10p.m. on Halloween night, along with half priced pumpkin kegs refills all night.
