It may be a bit harder this year to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree with required line reservations and time limits, but now you can have it right inside your own home at all hours of the day!
During the annual tree lighting ceremony last night, Rockefeller Center shared a livestream on its social media pages so everyone can enjoy the tree this year, even if they can’t be there in person. It appears to be running constantly, though the tree is only lit up from 6 a.m. to midnight each day, not all night long. On Christmas Day, it will be lit a full 24 hours!
Whether you want to simply enjoy its glistening glow, spy an ice skater sweeping by (…or falling down), or watch passersby admiring the tree, it’s the perfect background to have on for the holiday season (will this replace the yule log videos in NYC apartments?!).
Check it out here.
