Just in time for the warm weather, New Yorkers now have a new line to stand on. NYC’s beloved L’Industrie Pizzeria–you know, the one that’s constantly drawing lines out the door and being crowned with serving the best slice in the U.S.–has opened the doors to its third location.
If you’ve ever had the pleasure of biting into L’Industrie Pizzeria’s burrata pie, you know the hype is real. The pizzeria has been spinning dough since first opening their original Williamsburg location back in 2017, and they’ve certainly perfected their craft.
And it’s not just the burrata pie. Each slice pairs together perfectly thin crust, signature fermented dough, and fresh toppings hailing straight from Italy–chef-owner Massimo Laveglia is a Florence native, after all.
The new location landed right in Manhattan’s very own Little Italy, right next to the 134-year-old Italian bakery and local institution, Ferrara. So if you want to pair your slice with a cannoli or a lobster tail, this is the location to head to.
The downside: we have a feeling the lines will now be extra long, since it is one of NYC’s most populated tourist areas.
Once you do make it to the counter, you’ll find all the usual creations the pizza shop is beloved for, from the Fig Jam and Bacon to the Parma and New Yorker and, of course, the Burrata.
The Early Bird Pie is a menu newcomer, which, topped with bacon, sausage, eggs, and white mozzarella, is essentially a fusion of New Yorkers’ two main food groups.
Prices range from $29 for their Tomato Pie to $47 for their L’industrie Pie, which comes topped with prosciutto di parma and burrata. They also have desserts like Bombolones, Olive Oil Cake, Tiramisu, and Millefoglie, though the pizza, of course, is really why you go.
Seating is nonexistent, but there’s really no need–we’re New Yorkers, we can scarf down a slice in seconds.
