If you’ve ever had the pleasure of biting into L’Industrie Pizzeria’s burrata pie, did you know that you’ve been biting into the best pizza slice in the United States? That’s according to Fodor’s Travel, a trusted resource offering expert travel advice for every stage of a traveler’s trip for over 80 years.
The platform recently unveiled their list of the 10 Best Pizza Slices in the United States, and according to its 700+ local writers and vacation experts, L’Industrie Pizzeria is the very best.

L’Industrie Pizzeria has been spinning pizza dough since first opening their original Williamsburg location back in 2017, and it’s safe to say they’ve perfected their pie. Their slices–and not just the burrata one–pair together perfectly thin crust, signature fermented dough, and fresh toppings hailing straight from Italy. After all, there is a Florence native behind the shop!
The result: a pizza pie that literally makes you want to swat your friends’ hands away, because there’s no room for sharing here.
And it’s not just us (or Fodor’s) that thinks so–The New York Times ranked the best of the best pizzerias throughout the five boroughs not too long ago, and L’Industrie made the cut. Fodor’s writes:
There’s nearly always a line out the door, and for good reason. Pistoia, Italy-born chef-owner Massimo Laveglia’s masterpieces feature the classics—pepperoni and Margherita—but also bump up against specialties where the toppings are burrata, bacon and fig jam, pesto and spicy salami.
Prices range from $29 for their Tomato Pie–the perfect vegan option–to $47 for their L’industrie Pie, which comes topped with prosciutto di parma and burrata. They also have desserts like Bombolones, Olive Oil Cake, Tiramisu, and Soft Serve Gelato, though the pizza is really why you come here.
