🚂 Our tips and tricks:
- 🏞️ Pick the side facing the river/gorge: Many reviewers suggest sitting on the side closest to the river for best views of water and foliage.
- 💨 If in an open-air car, prioritize wind safety: These cars have large windows or open sides — fantastic for views and photos, but colder and louder. Bring a windbreaker and protect your camera/phone from gusts.
- 🎧 Take advantage of narration and scenery: The ride includes narration about the gorge and region.
- 🕓 Consider time of day/departure: Earlier trains may have better natural light; during holiday/winter rides, parking and boarding may be more relaxed for later departures.
The Santa Claus Specials will run on November 28th, 29th and 30th; as well as various dates throughout December, with three daily departures at 10:30 am, 1 pm, and 3:30 pm.
Additionally, the line also offers Winter Character Trains throughout December, which include a festive lineup of loveable frosty friends.
