Bid adieu to the typical static and muffled mumble of subway announcements, as your ears will surely perk up at the sound of Kenan Thompson making PSAs this week. That’s right, SNL star, Kenan Thomspon, will voice subway safety announcements ahead of SNL50, SNL’s 50th anniversary special on Sunday, February 16th.
This is not the first time celebrity’s have taken over the PA system to speak to commuters. Jerry Seinfeld, Awkwafina and other iconic New Yorkers have also made their voices heard.
Thompson will share everything from safety information to reminders to pay fares. His announcements will play across 400 subway stations, beginning February 10th through February 16th.
An example transcript includes:

Other SNL50 promotions from OUTFRONT Media can be seen around the 47th–50th Streets–Rockefeller Center subway station, now through February 23rd, including static and digital signage, turnstiles and large wallscapes.
