This summer, the world’s biggest club soccer competition is coming to New York and bringing a show unlike anything fans have seen before. On July 13, during the FIFA Club World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium in New York–New Jersey, global superstars J Balvin, Doja Cat, and Tems will headline the first-ever FIFA Club World Cup Halftime Show.
Curated by Coldplay’s Chris Martin and produced by Global Citizen, the event promises a blend of music, sport, and social impact—broadcast live and free worldwide via DAZN.
A star-studded halftime show with purpose
This isn’t just about entertainment, the halftime show supports the FIFA Global Citizen Education Fund. They aim to raise $100 million to provide children worldwide with access to education and sports. For every ticket sold to the tournament, $1 will be donated to the initiative.
For New Yorkers, this is a once-in-a-lifetime moment: global music icons lighting up MetLife Stadium during a historic final. One that has the goal of drawing the largest viewership for a club match in history.
J Balvin to headline historic FIFA Club World Cup show
J Balvin, who has long represented Latin culture on global stages, will lead the lineup with Nigerian powerhouse Tems and genre-breaking Grammy-winner Doja Cat. Each artist brings a unique sound and legacy, ensuring the show speaks to fans across generations and borders.
The event will also function as a trial run. MetLife Stadium will host the 2026 World Cup, with some frontrunners already in place.
A global first in the U.S.
This is more than a concert, it’s a cultural crossover moment. It will unite football and music at the highest level, all with a mission to create lasting change. And it’s only the beginning. FIFA and Global Citizen also plan to bring the first-ever World Cup Final Halftime Show to New York–New Jersey in 2026.
For those in NYC, New Jersey, and beyond, the countdown has begun. The game will crown the world’s top club team—but the halftime might just steal the show.
