It’s been 20 years since Hannah Montana premiered on Disney Channel with the episode “Lilly, Do You Want to Know a Secret?” In March 2006, Disney Channel introduced us to Miley Stewart’s double life—ordinary teen by day, pop superstar by night—and honestly, pop culture hasn’t been the same since.
To celebrate two decades of the Best of Both Worlds, Disney+, Maybelline New York, and Disney Branded Television are bringing the ultimate millennial/Gen Z core memory to life.
For one weekend only, you can step inside a real-life recreation of Hannah Montana’s legendary rotating glam closet. ✨🎤
What to expect at the “Best of Both Worlds” pop-up
Let’s be real: at one point or another, we all daydreamed about having Hannah Montana’s closet. Organized by color–and featuring everything from clothing to wigs, shoes, and accessories–it was every girl’s dream.
And now, we can finally step inside.

This immersive experience is recreating that exact TV set right here in Manhattan. Inside the closet, fans can:
- Get Stage-Ready: Hit the interactive Maybelline glam stations to recreate bold, early-2000s-inspired beauty looks
- The Ultimate Photo Op: Once you’ve got your pop star glow-up, you can strike a pose in a curated Polaroid photobooth
- The Nostalgia Trip: Expect plenty of wigs, sequins, and accessories that look like they were pulled straight from the set
How to get in
The best part? You don’t need a platinum record to get on the list. The event is completely free and operates on a first-come, first-served basis—so we highly recommend getting there early.
The pop-up is timed perfectly with the Hannah Montana 20th Anniversary Special, which begins streaming on Disney+ on March 24.
