Angelina Paris is a highly regarded Parisian restaurant and teahouse that is about to make its U.S. debut.
The popular French patisserie will open its first U.S. outpost in one of New York City’s newest luxury buildings, ML House. Located at 1050 Sixth Avenue, the city’s sweet new addition is opening Tuesday, November 17!
The 3,000-square-foot space will be part tearoom, part boutique, and part restaurant. Of course, they are following COVID-19 safety guidelines including 25% capacity indoors and disinfecting protocols. Their hours will be 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday & Sunday.
Opened in 1903, the shop is most well known for its delicious African Hot Chocolate and their iconic pastry Mont-Blanc. As the patisserie puts it, “the Mont-Blanc’s unique, unrivalled recipe has made it Angelina’s famous trademark pastry since” the beginning.
As for the hot chocolate? It’s made with three kinds of African cocoa from Niger, Ghana and Côte d’Ivoire.
Although this will be the teahouse’s first location the states, they have over 30 boutiques and tea rooms across 11 countries. The cafe was originally set it open in September of 2019, so we’re happy it’s finally making its debut!
