Emerging artists will be thrilled to learn that there’s a new venue coming to Bushwick this fall.
From 2006 to 2014 there was a performance and art space called Glasslands Gallery in Williamsburg. The creators of this “experiment in art & partying” are the same people behind this new creative community venue.
The “independent music venue and arts space” is called Elsewhere. It is a converted warehouse that has several distinct areas within its 24,000 square foot space. Included will be two performances areas (one that fits about 675 people and another that fits about 200), an art gallery, cafe, and there are even plans for a rooftop area come Spring 2018.

Elsewhere is expected to open by November, with show tickets for November 1 already available for purchase. Scheduled performers the first week include: Parquet Courts, ADULT., TOMI, and MNDSGN. The venue will also be incredibly easy to get to since it’s near the L train’s Jefferson Street stop.
