How To Keep Your New Year’s Resolution: Four Fun Workouts In NYC

So you want to get in shape for the new year, but working out is just such a chore. Here are four things you can do to get a workout without realizing that you’re working:

1. Jedi Class

In this class at New York Sports Club, you’ll do cardio and strength training with martial arts moves, and yes, you get to use a lightsaber! How cool is that? Classes run until January 29, and they will probably fill up quickly, so sign up soon.

2. Skiing

You might be wondering, “Where am I supposed to ski in New York City?” Well, you’re not. If you go on the Fever app, you can purchase a ticket for a day long skiing adventure at Hunter Resort in the Catskills, either for experienced skiers, or for beginners. Round trip transportation, equipment rental, and lift tickets are all included in the ticket price!

3. Archery Class

It might not be a super intense cardio workout, but archery does require strength and mindfulness, which is good for your health. Tickets are available on Fever for only $25.

4. Yoga

Yoga is a fantastic way to get in shape, relieve stress, and stay healthy. Many yoga classes in NYC are expensive, or require that you get a membership to the studio, but you can get a one class pass that includes a yoga mat for just $10 dollars on Fever.
