The AccuWeather Wintercast believes NYC is likely to see 4-8 inches as the storm rolls in. Per the predictions, “Steady snow is expected to begin overspreading the New York City area early Sunday morning before snow mixes with sleet by Sunday afternoon and evening.”
The Weather Channel believes the city will see anywhere between 8-12 inches of snow while WABC TV Chief Meteorologist Lee Goldberg predicts anywhere from 6 to 12 inches.
All in all, it’s still a bit of a gamble, and the course of the storm could change. For now, we’re preparing for the most, especially considering New York is under a state of emergency.

Sources indicate that the snow will begin around 3am in New York City. Once Sunday afternoon rolls around, the storm is expected to turn into a mix of snow and sleet.
