NYC is home to the best pizza in the world, so it’s no wonder Heidi Klum decided to partner with Crazy Pizza and her daughter’s father, Flavio Briatore, to open a pizzeria in the heart of SoHo. Crazy Pizza, located at 218 Lafayette Street, will offer New Yorkers “crazy thin crusts” that’s promised to be guilt and yeast-free.
The pizzeria is set to open to the public on November 6th, following a seemingly successful launch party with sparklers, celebrities, plenty of slices and even a pizza disco ball.
Beyond the crazy thin crust, customers will be mesmerized by the establishment’s signature spinning pizza show. Each day, Crazy Pizza’s pizzaiolos will toss the dough overheard in Italian tradition, creating a theatrical performance for customers before they sink their teeth into a slice.
The menu’s 23 pizzas listed range anywhere from $22-65, with their most expensive pies being the Tartufo (buffalo mozzarella, truffle paste with truffle and black truffle shavings) and the Pate Negra (tomato sauce, buffalo mozzarella and Joselito Iberico prok ham).
Of course, if $65 a pie is out of your price range you can stick with classics like a Margherita, Pomodoro, Formaggi and more that’s lower in price. Crazy Pizza also has a “Crazy Pleasures” section on the menu, consisting of pastas and poultry.
Reservations can be made online now for what’s to be the newest hot spot in town.
