Ticketmaster President Saumil Mehta confirmed that the company has successfully identified and canceled thousands of ticket purchases made by scalpers using fake identities and multiple accounts.
The best part? These tickets are now being released back to the fans at their original prices. Mehta stressed that if you already bought your tickets directly or received a legitimate transfer, your seats are safe.
- Total Transparency: All rereleased tickets will be priced under $130.
- The Budget Beat: In an effort to keep the “disco” accessible, 19% of these tickets will cost under $50.

Unlike the standard ready, steady, go of a typical sale, this is a request-based system to ensure tickets land in the hands of real fans.
- Request Window Opens: Thursday, April 30, at 12:00 PM ET.
- Request Window Closes: Friday, May 1, at 5:00 PM ET.
- The Notification: If your request is granted, you’ll receive a confirmation email by May 8 at 11:59 PM.
