Put together by comedians Marcia Belsky and Melissa Stokoski, the performance is described as:
“a comical and cathartic parody of the Margaret Atwood novel and Hulu original series The Handmaid’s Tale. Set in 2027 Brooklyn, the show depicts modern millennials in a dystopian near future and the perils they endure. It’s funny not sad … we promise.”
The parody performance will take place on Thursday, January 25 at Union Hall. Although advance tickets are sold out, you can still attend and grab a $10 ticket the day of.
