1. Grand Prix New York Racing
Grand Prix New York Racing features a winding course with ramps, multiple levels, and even colored lights to help illuminate their grand space and track. The track is an entire experience all on its own, with several routes designed for children, beginners, intermediate racers, and experienced Go Karters.
Sign up for a race or swing around the track with your friends, since all ages are encouraged at GPNYR. Be sure to check out their other activities and spaces as well, such as a climbing wall, ninja obstacle course and new dining area set to open this fall!

2. Electric Eden Raceway at Luna Park
On Coney Island is Luna Park, an amusement park with an excellent Go Kart track. Their amusement park is 14 acres full of rides and attractions that can have you hypnotized for a whole day! The brand new racetrack which just debuted back in May, Electric Eden Raceway, are the first-ever electric-powered go-karts in NYC. Complete with tons of LED lights and fast-paced fun, this course is a true immersion. Learn more about it here.

3. Autobahn Indoor Speedway New York
If you’re ready to dial it up to 11, check out the Autobahn Indoor Speedway New York. Get your heart pumping as you blast around one of the fastest tracks in the area and reach speeds of up to 50 miles per hour!
The Autobahn is all about inclusion and fun–with no speed limits. You can test your skill on a safe and extremely well-maintained track in a high-performance kart. Sign up to join an E-Kart league and test your skills against other racers, or take the kids to experience the Junior Karts the Autobahn has to offer for youngsters.

4. Staten Island Raceway
For something a little closer to home, rip around the Staten Island Raceway at the Staten Island FunPark. Their 800-foot track features many twists and turns under the supervision of the Pit Crews who ensure safe driving. Kids and adults alike can speed their way through the turns on this beautiful track, all while having a laugh along the way. The FunPark also features mini golf, batting cages, and the famous Water Blast, so there’s something for everyone if you visit!

5. RPM Raceway
With three main locations in the Tri-State area, RPM Raceway features a wide range of Go Karts, arcade games, food, and more to help you celebrate or just get away from it all. The track is a European-style, quarter-mile raceway built with plenty of hairpin turns and other exciting features to keep your heart pumping. With an arcade and dining options also on-site, RPM is a great way to spend a day and add a little high-speed excitement to your leisure time. There are even summer programs for the kids.

6. Oakland Valley Race Park
The Oakland Valley Race Park is the place to be for serious Go Kart racing in NYC. The track is open for competitive races on the weekends, with practice races for the fastest drivers the day prior to the event. During the week (Wednesday – Friday), the track is open for Go Karters of all abilities to rent Karts and drive to their heart’s desire. We recommend reserving a time slot!
The Oakland Valley Race Park hosts several competitions per year, including the New York State Championship Race and Vintage Kart Racing competitions, so you know this place is the real deal.

7. Tiki Action Park
For a step down in competition but the same level of fun, visit Tiki Action Park on Long Island. The arcade, mini golf, and go-karting complex is a fun option for a day out with the kids or a special event. There are two-seaters and one-seaters available to get everyone involved in the high-speed action, so it’s perfect for parties of any size!

8. Raceway at The Lucky Snake
This speedway is located in Atlantic City, NJ sits inside the Showboat hotel’s arcade and features over 30 go karts available to race! If you’re checking out the iconic boardwalk in AC, be sure stop by here for a race or two. Prices range depending on how long you wish to go, with their best deal being 3 races for $65 (or 1 race for $25). Of course there’s also a massive arcade and sports bar there to lounge at afterward!

9. New Jersey Motorsports Park
Although it’s a drive from NYC, New Jersey Motorsports Park and its 500 acre complex is worth an adrenaline adventure of a roadtrip. With both on and off-track options, NJMP includes two world-class road courses, Thunderbolt and Lightning, in addition to Tempest Raceway, one of the top outdoor karting complexes in the country.
