Each year the rooftop bar at The McKittrick Hotel turns into a warm winter haven during the cold months, and The Hideout at Gallow Green is officially open for the season!
Joining the winterized restaurants and rooftops comes Gallow Green’s yearly winter transformation, The Hideout, which is now officially open for the season.
Prepare to be transported to the magical mountainside of the French Alps with blankets and plush sheepskin accents at this winter hideaway. This year’s transformation has been reimagined by English-born Designer and Art Director, Jessie Flynn. Guests will enter through a forest of pine trees upon arrival that will lead them to the cozy little escape from the hectic city streets.
Reserve your own yurt or warm up by the fireplace and sip on hot cider or spiced wine.
You’ll find on the menu their signature cocktail Sleep No More, which includes pea flower-infused vodka, elderflower, and rosé cider; or their St. James Ward with whiskey, apple cider, amaro, cinnamon, ginger, and lemon. Aside from listed cocktails, there will be plenty of bourbon, whisky, and cider to enjoy while you cozy up to the fireplace.
As you sip, nibble on some of their comforting plates like Steak Frites and Chicken Schnitzel or let their gooey French Onion Soup warm you from the inside out.
The Hideout at Gallow Green will be open Wednesdays – Mondays, from 5 p.m. To make a reservation and to find out more, head to The McKittrick Hotel website here.
