The MTA is planning to suspend service on the G train every weekend in September and once in November.
The closure will take place between Bedford-Stuyvesant and Queens, forcing commuters to find alternatives between 9:45 p.m. on Fridays until 5 a.m. on Mondays. Commuters will have to take buses available between Bedford-Nostrand Avenues and Court Square.
The trains will be closed from:
September 7-10
September 14-17
September 21-24
September 28-October 1
November 2-3
The stations will be closed for track maintenance and upgrades, with free shuttle services running along the line’s route. However, normal service will operate between Church Avenue and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues.
