The Fulton St. subway station just got an April Fools’ Day makeover!
For April Fools’ Day 2021, an anonymous New Yorker has changed almost every “Fulton St.” subway sign in FiDi to read “Foolton St.” instead, shared also by the nonprofit art organization the LISA Project!
Stickers are used, so there’s no permanent damage, or cost to the city to remove.
The sign should be there until the MTA or NYPD removes it since it is technically illegal to obscure the location of the station.
Happy April Fools’ Day!
