NYC is officially on the road to hosting the 2026 FIFA World Cup, and tickets are now available, at least for fans ready to splurge. FIFA has released the first round of ticket packages, but only through official hospitality options, which include luxury experiences and guaranteed seats at key matches, including the World Cup Final at MetLife Stadium on July 19, 2026.
What are World Cup Hospitality Packages?
These aren’t your average stadium tickets. Hospitality packages combine premium seating, exclusive access to VIP lounges, gourmet food and drinks, fast-track entry, and commemorative experiences. Designed to deliver next-level service, they include everything from shared lounges to private suites, depending on the tier selected.
Hospitality packages offer higher service levels than NFL games or concerts, with options like the FIFA Pavilion, Champions Club, and Pitchside Lounge.
How to access World Cup tickets in NYC
All sales are handled exclusively by On Location, FIFA’s official hospitality provider. Packages can only be purchased through FIFA’s official website. NYC fans can choose between different types of World Cup tickets:
- 🏟 Venue Series: all games at one stadium ($5,300)
- 🧣 Follow My Team: your team’s group matches ($6,750)
- 4️⃣ Four-Match Series: flexible mix across venues ($8,275)
- 🏆 Eight-Match Series: expanded access, including finals (up to $73,200)
Each includes a choice of hospitality level and is non-refundable once purchased, though deposits are refundable if not applied.
When are regular World Cup tickets coming to NYC?
General admission tickets for the 2026 World Cup are not on sale yet. FIFA plans to release standard tickets closer to the event, after the official team draw in December 2025.
Sales for individual match tickets are expected to begin in late 2025 or early 2026, with lower prices than current hospitality offerings. Rumors have it that the date would be around mid-November, once we finish the first qualification phase.
NYC’s role in the 2026 World Cup
New York City is one of 11 U.S. host cities and will stage eight matches, including the final. Hospitality packages for NYC start at $25,800 and go up to $73,200, making it one of the most in-demand locations.
Premium packages for U.S.-based matches are live, and tickets for games in Mexico and Canada will follow later this year. With 48 teams, 104 matches, and global attention, the 2026 tournament is set to be the biggest World Cup ever, and NYC fans now have the first chance to secure their spot.
