Below you’ll find the days off most New Yorkers will have for federal holidays, but of course, do check with your employer before crossing time off your calendar. Typically, if a federal holiday falls over the weekend, most companies compensate with a day off during the week, but naturally, every business is a little different. When in doubt: ask the boss!
