With a mission to bring love and music into the world, Robot Heart Collective is parking their iconic Art Car in Central Park for a transcendent 2-day music festival.
Fare Forward will bring world-class performers, artistic experiences, dining options, and conscious revelry to Wollman Rink for one eventful weekend from April 30 – May 1.
The renowned Robot Heart Art Car has been gracing Burning Man since 2008. And this year, it’s swapping the dusty desert for the concrete jungle!
The ever-evolving bus and Robot Heart sound system was built by the Robot Heart team, and continues to be refined and rebuilt 15 years later. Described as an “instrument in its own right” by musicians who have played it, the system is undeniably unique.
Festival goers are welcomed to appreciate the present, transcend their senses, and find a state of unity at the weekend-long festival. Music will feature a variety of electronically dominant artists from Acid Pauli, Cymande, Formerly, DJ Dill, Guy Laliberté, The Illustrious Blacks and more.
And of course, what’s a festival without food? Their “vendor village” will offer a variety of global cuisines, highlighting local and organic ingredients.
The buzzing event will not only celebrate Robot Heart community’s 15 years and 50th birthday of the Robot Heart 1972 English bus, but it will provide as a memorial for Robot Heart founder George Mueller (a.k.a Geo).
Robot Heart has put on annual immersive music and art festivals between 2008-2016, drawing more than 4,000 people per festival. The collective of dreamers, artists and entrepreneurs hosts events at Burning Man and around the globe as an “extension and celebration of that community, bound together by shared values of inclusion, giving, environmental responsibility and mutual respect.”
At every event, Robot Heart donates a portion of the proceeds to charitable organizations. This year, all proceeds from the Central Park event will be donated to the City Parks Foundation, among a scholarship to a music/arts school.
