The creators of the Museum of Ice Cream—which came to NYC in 2016 as a pop-up exhibit—is now launching their very own line of ice creams!
Since their brief pop-up in NYC, the museum has been making its rounds from Los Angeles, to Miami, and now San Francisco. However, they’re permanent spin-off shop, The Pint Shop, will open first in the Meatpacking District on July 6.
According to a press release, the brand-new space “re-envisions the grocery store, enabling a hyper-sensory experience.” As shocked as you may be to hear they didn’t already have their own ice cream line (we are, too), we’re glad that that’s about to change…and with summer right around the corner! Until now, the museums featured tastings of ice cream from other popular shops.

The Pint Shop will be an ice cream shop like no other in the city, with a museum-like element and seven creative new flavors such as their signatures, Piñata and Sprinkle Pool, as well as Chocolate Crush, Cherrylicious, Churro Churro, Vanillionaire, and Nana Bread.
“At The Pint Shop, visitors will explore life-size pint installations, browse aisles dedicated to Museum of Ice Cream’s debut ice cream flavors, and have the opportunity to indulge in a reservation only, one-of-a-kind tasting experience, where participants will learn about the making of ice cream through all five senses.”
The new ice cream line will roll out at all Museum of Ice Cream locations, and at most Target stores around the country beginning this summer.
