All Broadway theaters have a day (usually a Monday) when they remain dark and do not hold any performances. This year, however, that day falls on a Tuesday, since the show will not be running at many Broadway theaters on Election Day, Tuesday, November 5.
This Election Day will be the first presidential election since Broadway reopened, and many popular shows like Chicago , Hamilton, and Wicked will keep their empty schedules. For those looking to ease their Election Day blues, there will still be a few shows running , including The Outsiders, The Roommate, Harry Potter and the Cursed Child, Left on Tenth, McNeal, and Sufts. .
