Enchanting New Harry Potter-Inspired Cafe Will Open Next Month In NYC

Get your wands ready Potter fans, the East Village is about to become home to a magical new cafe!

The coffee shop called Steamy Hallows will be a “witchy goth coffee shop [serving] up delicious coffee and tea potions, huge homemade cookies, in an atmosphere inspired by Harry Potter & Halloween.” According to EV Grieve, the space at 514 East Sixth Street between Avenue A and B has been shuttered for some time now. The owner, Zach Neil, is also the mastermind behind the new concept…so while no address has been announced for Steamy Hallows, it’s speculated that this may be where it’ll open up.

Zach Neil is known for his themed pop-ups, like the Will Ferrell inspired bar Stay Classy, and the most well-known Tim Burton inspired bar called Beetle House (which is also on Sixth Street).

Stay tuned for more info on this exciting venture!
