The rooftop at Eataly Flatiron is an oasis in the heart of Manhattan, and the perfect spot to tuck yourself into on a cold winter day!
Like in past seasons, Eataly has been welcoming the change in weather by decking out their rooftop space with beautiful, seasonal-appropriate furnishings and decorations. Winter is no different.
In partnership with luxury Italian clothing brand Falconeri, this year a snowy Italian countryside theme has replaced the festive autumnal one that had been up since September.

The idea for the theme was to be a “wintery Italian landscape with twinkling lights, [and] earthy tones” coming from LessThan3Studio. The enchanting space features winter greenery hanging from the ceiling that’ll make you want to cozy up to some delicious dishes.
The seasonal menu will include options inspired by the “feel of a meal in the heart of the Italian countryside on a snowy day,” which means warming dishes like Cinghiale con polenta, braised wild boar, wild hive polenta, fresh Urbani winter black truffle, Stinco di Vitello, braised bone in Mosner Farms veal shank, wild hive polenta, and the Cavolo Arrosto, roasted savoy cabbage, opal apple, pickled mustard seeds.

As for the cocktails, Serra is featuring an exciting collaboration with Savoia to bring guests the Savoia Spritz: Savoia, prosecco, rosemary/cranberry syrup, lemon, and gazzosa, and the Savoia Toddy: Savoia, whiskey, orange bitters, ginger syrup, and hot green tea.

And if you have more room to indulge, don’t forget to satisfy your sweet tooth with a Torta di Ricotta e Amarene. This Italian treat is similar to a pie and is made with ricotta, Fabbri amarena cherries and paired with vanilla ice cream.

It’s the perfect place to take in the glittering lights even when the sun sets so early, and if you have no NYE plans yet, they’re even hosting a festive party in the space!
