First there was the donut, then there was the craffle, and it makes us wonder…why stop there? Well, apparently Bear Donut is wondering the same.
A reimagined retro American donut shop with South Korean flair, Bear Donut, which opened in NoMad this past summer, is whipping up a new concoction, this time combining the waffle with an even sweeter treat–a donut!
The “doffle” is the newest item to hit their breakfast menu, and it pairs perfectly with the season. Each one is made with their chewy mochi donuts and served with a creamy and sweet house-made yogurt whipped cream. You can try their doffle either in Apple Cinnamon or Blueberry.
To get your chance to try this new mouth-watering treat be sure to get there early–this $7.50 treat ($10 for a doffle and coffee combo) is served each day from 8a.m. until sold out.
If you miss out on your chance to try their doffle don’t fret–they also have a brand new selection of special fall donuts to try including a Pumpkin Spice Donut filled with pumpkin cream and drizzled with pumpkin spice glaze, and the Maple Glazed Donut with a tasty maple glaze and crunchy banana chips.
Bear Donut will even be open on Thanksgiving Day, serving as the perfect dessert spot for those who don’t like your run-of-the-mill Thanksgiving Day pie.
Bear Donut is located at 40 W 31st St. and is open Tuesday through Sunday 8a.m. – 6:30p.m.
