Following two comedy specials Dave Chappelle released on Netflix earlier this year, he’s now bringing his stand up right here to New York City.
The summer’s funniest show has already begun. Dave Chappelle has taken up residency at Radio City Music Hall for most of the month of August, and his line-up is star-studded, to say the least.
Originally he was only going to perform 14 days but recently extended his residency for two more days. Depending on which day of the month you attend you’ll see various artists on stage including: Childish Gambino, Chance the Rapper, Erykah Badu, The Roots, Solange, Usher, Yasiin Bey, and Lauren Hill. He’ll not only have musical performers but a hilarious lineup of other comedians such as Trevor Noah, Chris Rock, Ali Wong, and Amy Schumer.
Beginning tonight, one man stands atop Radio City Music Hall… #DaveChappelle kicks off a historic, 16-night Residency in celebration of his 30th anniversary in comedy. Each night, amazing Special Guests will join him for co-headlining sets and featured performances. Tickets are on sale now – link in bio. #ChappelleRadioCity #LiveNationComedy
His first show performance was August 1, and although there have already been several shows, there are still plenty of days to see him since his last night at Radio City being August 24. However, keep in mind you’ll be paying for the talented group. But they’re worth the cost.
If you don’t mind waiting until the end of the month you can snag a ticket for about $89 plus fees, but if you’re willing to spend a little more you can get a closer view of the epic show.
