You might be familiar with Blank Slate Tea and if you are, then you’ll also want to check out the Blank Slate Cafe and Kitchen. It won’t disappoint!
We all know that you could walk less than a block and stumble upon a not just one but two Starbucks cafes. But if you’re looking for something a bit off the beaten latte track, why not check out an independent coffee shop like Blank Slate?
Located in NoMad, the Blank Slate Cafe and Kitchen specializes in quality coffee and small plates. They brew Devoción coffee, a specialty farm-to-table, ethically sourced coffee from Colombia. The Blank Slate blend, La Pizarra (which is exclusive to the shop) is a chocolaty blend with spicy notes. If you’re more of a coffee connoisseur than a caffeine addict, you’ll want to try one of their espressos or even a cold brew with no sugar.
Teas are also available on the drink menu although not to the extent that they are available at their exclusive tea shop.
If you’re looking for breakfast or lunch, they have an extensive menu with delicious options like a Dijon Chicken Salad Sandwich, Avocado Caprese Salad, and even a fancy cheese board with three delicious cheeses and nuts.
They also offer gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options for our health conscious friends.
Since the open early and close late(ish) you can start your day there with a cup of Joe and end it with a glass of wine or beer! A new go to spot for all your culinary/caffeine needs. Check it out!
