Didn’t get your hands on free meals from Chipotle last week? Well not all hope is lost, babyyy! For a limited time, Chipotle is giving away $3 million worth of free food to celebrate Cinco de Mayo, Teacher Appreciation Week, and National Nurses Week.
On Cinco de Mayo, Monday, May 5th, Chipotle’s new “Ingredient Quest” gaming experience will launch on Roblox, so if you’re not already familiar with the game you may want to make that your weekend task! Gamers will have to find and collect virtual cards featuring Chipotle’s 53 real ingredients throughout the Burrito Builder experience on the game for a chance to score one of the 50,000 free burritos.
Burrito Builder can be accessed here. “Ingredient Quest” will launch at 6pm ET on Monday, May 5th. A press release writes:
Chipotle created ‘Ingredient Quest’ to educate its Gen Z fans on the brand’s 53 real ingredients while giving them the opportunity to claim a reward of free Chipotle in the physical world. Inspired by the generation’s love for nostalgic collectibles, the experience taps into the thrill of opening ‘card packs’ and celebrating rare ‘pulls.’ Like collectibles in the physical world, each of Chipotle’s ingredient card packs on Roblox feature an assortment of five cards with original artwork.
Here’s how Chipotle’s Ingredient Quest will work:
- Roblox users will meet an employee inside Chipotle’s virtual restaurant in the Burrito Builder experience
- Users will get a starter pack of five unique ingredient cards to begin–the goal is to collect all 53 ingredient cards
- Users must roll burritos in Burrito Builder to earn Burrito Bucks, which can be redeemed for ingredient card packs (each card pack contains five cards and forty ingredient cards are available)
- The remaining eight ingredient cards are hidden throughout Chipotle’s Burrito Builder experience in a virtual scavenger hunt
- The first 50,000 users to collect all 53 unique ingredient cards will unlock a free entrée offer
But the fun doesn’t stop there–celebrations are actually spread across five full days this year, all packed with fabulous food, fun, and prizes, and it’s already in full swing!
Now through Monday, May 5th, guests can celebrate Cinco de Mayo with a $0 delivery fee offer with promo code DELIVER on the Chipotle app or website. And, from tomorrow, May 3rd, through Monday, May 5th, guests can enjoy free chips and Queso Blanco with promo code CINCO25.

Beyond celebrating Cinco de Mayo, Chipotle will also be celebrating teachers and the healthcare community with more than $2 million in free burritos as well! The food chain is inviting educators and healthcare professionals to sign up for a chance to receive free burritos in celebration of Teacher Appreciation Week (May 5th through May 9th) and National Nurses Week (May 6th through May 12th).
Here’s how that’ll work:
- Chipotle invites teachers and healthcare professionals to enter for a chance to win a free entrée e-card now through May 12th on their respective microsites:
- At the end of Teacher Appreciation Week and National Nurse Appreciation Week, 100,000 teachers and 100,000 healthcare workers will be randomly selected via email
- Teachers and healthcare professionals who successfully verify their employment status within 48 hours will receive a free entrée e-card (winners will be notified starting the week of May 13th)
